Raccontare un mondo realizza al PAC uKhongolose (Parlamento), performance sul tema del femminicidio che riflette sul modo in cui le statistiche eliminano le sensibilità della violenza e desensibilizzano il pubblico, in modo che diventi meno doloroso affrontarla.
Nei suoi lavori Siwani si interroga sulla decadenza del proprio corpo, sul ricordo di Johannesburg e sul rapporto della sua famiglia con la città. Concentrandosi sulle tracce – quello che è stato lasciato indietro, da chi, e in che modo alla fine scompare – l'artista presenta le donne come esseri liminali, vive e morte, accessibili e inaccessibili, con l’intento di dare un senso alla propria soggettività. Cresciuta a Johannesburg, grazie alla natura nomade della sua educazione ha vissuto anche nella Provincia del Capo orientale e nel KwaZulu Natal. Siwani lavora prevalentemente mediante performance e installazioni, in cui inserisce fotografie e video.

In her work, Siwani questions the decay of her own body, her memories of Johannesburg, and her family's relationship to the city. Focusing on traces - what was left behind, by whom, and how it eventually disappears - the artist presents women as liminal beings, alive and dead, accessible and inaccessible, with the intention of making sense of their own subjectivity. Raised in Johannesburg, the nomadic nature of her upbringing has also led her to live in the Eastern Cape Province and KwaZulu Natal. Siwani works mainly through performances and installations, in which she incorporates photographs and videos.
