In occasione dell'inaugurazione della mostra Japan. Body_Perfrom_Live, Ami Yamsaki realizza una performance che ha come protagonista la voce e l'interazione della voce con lo spazio.
Definirla vocalista sarebbe riduttivo, dovrebbe essere chiamata artista della voce, poiché alle infinite vibrazioni di suoni che emette con le sue corde vocali associa anche il movimento dell’intero corpo. Yamasaki riesce a emettere suoni ricercatissimi, intimi e misteriosi, rochi, acuti o stridenti, che attraversano e segnano visibilmente l’intero corpo, dal collo al volto alle mani, talvolta in modo appena percettibile, prima di espandersi nell’aria. Attraverso la voce trasmette una potente consapevolezza dell’interazione tra il sé più profondo, avviluppato dal corpo fisico, e tutto ciò che sta fuori di sé.
Il corpo è insieme linea di confine e strumento.

On the occasion of the opening of the exhibition "Japan. Body_Perfrom_Live", Ami Yamsaki realises a performance featuring the voice and the interaction of the voice with space. To call her a vocalist would be reductive, she should rather be called as a voice artist, given that she also associates the infinite sound vibrations she makes with her vocal cords with the movement of her entire body. Yamasaki manages to emit highly refined, intimate and mysterious sounds, hoarse, high-pitched or shrill, that visibly run through and affect her entire body, from her neck to her face and hands, sometimes barely perceptible, before expanding into the air. Through her voice she conveys a powerful awareness of the interaction between the deeper self, enclosed in the physical body, and all that lies outside of it. The body is both a boundary and an instrument.
