BERNA REALE, CAMOUFLAGE

On the occasion of the exhibition Brazil. Knife in the Flesh, the artist Berna Reale conceived and realized the performance Camouflage: the artist - dressed in a camouflage military uniform that she made herself - pushed a wagon loaded with sheets used to cover the victims of violent deaths in Brazil, whose bodies are left in the streets waiting for the police to arrive. An awareness but also an act of denunciation against the growing forms of violence in our cities.
